Traci Bisson, founder of Golden Dog Adventure Co., is passionate about creating unforgettable outdoor experiences for dogs and their handlers. With over 30 years of experience in marketing, public relations, and a deep love for the natural world, Traci established Golden Dog Adventure Co. in 2018 to bring dog lovers together for unique, enriching adventures.
Golden Dog Adventure Co. offers a wide range of fun activities, from the Doggy Olympics and Stand-Up Paddle Boarding with Your PUP to Skijoring and other outdoor activities, all designed to strengthen the bond between dogs and their handlers. Traci’s vision extends beyond adventure—her events focus on fostering community as well as creating safe, welcoming, and inclusive opportunities for dogs of all temperaments and their people.
A lifelong nature enthusiast, Traci earned her bachelor’s degree in wildlife management and business at the University of New Hampshire. She brings her passion for sustainability and community-building to everything she does, whether leading dogs and their handlers on a new trail or organizing events that provide ways for people to connect with nature in fun and unique ways.
In 2016, she graduated from the Leadership NH program and since then, has been recognized with numerous awards, including the NECU Planet Protector for her commitment to sustainability, and in 2022, she was honored with the Business Excellence Award in Consumer Services from NH Business Review.
At the Boston Outdoor Expo, Traci is excited to share her knowledge and passion for the outdoors through a presentation focused on hiking safety and trail etiquette with dogs. The talk will cover essential tips for recreating in the outdoors with your dog, with a special emphasis on creating safe spaces for reactive dogs to ensure positive and inclusive experiences for everyone.
