Arwen Turner: Arwen Turner is a fat nature lover, an advocate for increasing outdoor equity, inclusion, and access and the Chief Imagination Officer of Thicket Adventure, a company making comfortable and high-quality true plus-size outdoor apparel.
Tim Swanson: Tim Swanson is the founder and lead instructor of Owl Eyes Wilderness Survival. Tim Swanson has also served as a survival skills consultant for the TV Show “Finding Adventure”. He writes articles for Backwoodsman Magazine, and has helped create knife designs for knife making businesses. His philosophy of maintaining an ultralight pack, along with having strong earth based skills, make Tim unique in his teaching style. Along with teaching skills to people of all ages and backgrounds, Owl Eyes Wilderness Survival’s curricula have helped start various other survival schools, and trained survivalists preparing for major TV shows.
Jessie Krebbs: She’s been drawn into various media roles as a reality TV personality (History’s “ALONE: season 9” and National Geographic’s “Mygrations”) and online educator (MasterClass). She now owns and operates a school based in Colorado (OWLSSkills.com), which teaches the global survival and evasion techniques she learned and once taught in the military, to civilians with a focus on women and marginalized demographics. Protecting wild spaces by helping those with the desire learn to connect, explore, and feel safer in outdoor settings is her primary goal.
